My after effects will not launch. It keeps bouncing and then stops.

HI. I downloaded premiere pro today and then i had to patch it. It ended up patching after effects as well and now it won't open. I have searched everywhere and I tried everything. I have so many unsaved projects and plugins that I do not want to lose. Please someone help!!!
