My exported project is blurry when using 3d camera

I'm not sure why but every time I render and export my after effects project, the final outcome is blurry. Imagine the sort of thing when you are trying to watch a youtube video on mobile data and the quality is reduced because its trying to load the video. This doesn't happen for any of my other projects which are not using the 3d camera so does anyone know why the 3d camera is causing this to happen?

I've not noticed that sort of problem, but I wonder if your default camera settings are set with a strong depth of field on and so everything is out of focus?  When creating a new camera, AE tends to remember your last settings - normally that can be a useful thing, but I wonder if at some point you've made a camera for a specific use case and every subsequent camera has remained.

Other things to check:

  1. Does the preview appear blurry?
  2. Which renderer are you using, Classic, Advanced or Cinema4D?

I haven't seen this before. Do you mind sharing a screenshot that shows the problem? Also, please share the After Effects project file to test. Feel free to share it via DM if you do not want to share it publicly.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,
Nishu
