My laptop is slow

I have MSI Thin gf63 thin with i7 12th gen processor, 16 gb ram, rtx 4060 8gb GPU and after effects is pretty slow. I need to do everything in quarter resolution and for example I made some animation with a lot of gradients and effects (5 seconds animation) it took over 2 hours to render it.. Is that normal or?

Would you do something like this below?

* You clear cache data

* You update the graphic card driver to the latest version.

* You checkt the settings by Nivida control panel.

* You choose another codec for rendering.

I did that first two, but what to check in nvidia control panel and which codec to choose.. thank you for reply

Es una buena idea que subas una captura de pantalla de tu interface completa para intentar ver algo que podría estar ocasionando que After Effects se ponga lento. Por ejemplo no sabemos si estás trabajando a 8bpc, 16bpc o 32bpc. A pesar de que 2 horas en 5 segundos en tu computadora es un tiempo digamos un poco "normal" dependiendo de la complejidad de tu composición, tamaño de composición, Bpc, etc.
