So, my friend bought the entire Adobe suite for editing. I've been using a lot of Premiere. In my last video I got the idea to make a scroll from right to left, but the scroll shows only in the center of a border (and behind the text/border is the video). It was a lot of work because there was a lot of text.. I had to make a bunch of PNG files and just scroll them. I then had to go back and fix spelling errors (mostly not my errors) in some of the PNG files. Pain in the butt and took a lot longer.
Anyway, I started learning how to make an MOGRT so I can easily do this same effect next time. I've got a border image, a text layer, and a background that goes behind the text.. basically black/opacity.. this way you can have a totally black background or choose to show video through it, but it allows the text to be seen. I made it scroll from right to left. You can change the text and color in Premiere.
Anyway, here's what I can't figure out if it's doable:
Back in Premiere all you have to do is go to Essential Graphics and it allows you to change what the text says.. The default text says "TEST,". However, if you change the text to something longer.. it doesn't work because it's scrolling based on position and the length of the word TEST, -- what if someone wanted to type something longer? Like for example the scroll stops because the words are longer than the original so it doesn't go off the screen and then stops because I only had the timeline set to 6 seconds.
Is there any way for it to change based on how long whatever text someone types is?
So if they type in "THE QUICK BROWN FOX" it'll scroll left and off the screen nicely, but what if someone types "SOMETHING LONGER THAN THE ABOVE SENTENCE" it's not going to go completely off the left.. it's going to stop where THE QUICK BROWN FOX sentence stopped.

You would apply an expression that calculates the text length and speed and not use keyframes. I suggest you study up the various "news ticker" and "credit scroll" examples you can find on the internet and adapt the techniques.
