Hello, I have this problem that I want to pre-render compositions hierarchically because of the complexity of the project, and the problem is that I want to use a wide color gamut to upload the final project as HDR to Youtube, but if I use anything different then srgb (or probably rec.709) the rendered footage has different colors/gamma and it's rendering rec.709 not wide color gamut. I can render prores with rec.2100 (in AME), but still the footage has different colors/gamma when reimporting back even if I use rec.2100 in the project. This is a problem since I need to do this several times to get to the top composition. So far any options (color workspace) and combinations didn't fix my problem. Any help? What am I doing wrong?

Also I tried ACES in the project, the export was rec.709, so I changed the reimported footage colorspace to ACES back, the colors and gamma were ok, but there was huge banding going on because the export was rec.709...

Have you tried going to the Color Management tab in the Interpret Footage dialog and setting the movie's color space to Rec.2100? Or you could click Preserve RGB.
In the Color Management tab of your Output Module the output space should be the same as your project working space.

I tried IDK everything. Just need a proper way to do 1:1 pre renders in HDR or more, but final will be HDR.
It's the same, still it cames back lighter or darker, not the same.
