Ongoing freezes after AE 2022 Update on Windows 10 Pro

Using Windows 10 Pro and since the update getting multiple freezes on diverse commands from importing assets, scaling assets, already imported assets suddenlt not showing in viewer, to AE not closing when I quit the program.
