Only part of videos rendering, making preview impossible

After Effects has started glitching when I try to play the video I'm making. After I make a change, it will render part of the video and then only loop the playback of that portion, rather than continuing to render the entire video. If I move the placement over the unrendered part to prompt it to render it, it will, however it will simply leave off a different portion of the composition when I try to playback the next time. Is there a fix for this?

I'm using Version 24.1.0 on Windows 10.

That looks like AE is running out of memory and can't render the entire comp for playback. How much memory do you have available? Do you have other Adobe products open at the same time?

I did have Photoshop open. I have 16 RAM divided into 8/8, which I understand should be plenty.
