Paragraph text box size parented to null?

I've got a chunk of text, in paragraphc text box form, that I'm using as an essential graphics parameter and I am wondering if there is any way to parent the text box sides to a null I can add to the essential graphics panel so I can adjust the size of the text box from other compositions.

Long and short: No. Those parameters aren't even accessible to expressions, so this is a hopeless cause.
