Is it possible to draw a custom path and then paste it into the 'position' property of a 3D object like you can in 2D?

When I try pasting it, nothing seems to happen. Working in 2D seems fine however

Vector Paths are always only on the X and Y-axis of a layer. To change the path to move in X and Z try this. The tutorial I created is pretty old but the workflow is still the same:

This is my quick tip on copying and motion and vector paths.

You cannot have position properties separated. X and Y have to be together.
