Hello,

when I use after effects and press spacebar, the blue playhead is standing still and there is a red one moving.

I hope you know what i mean. The red playhead that is moving now is kind of choppy. The video is fluent but the red playhead isnt quite. Do you know a solution? I habe a good Pc so it cant be that.

Thanks.

Thanks for reaching out and sharing the screen recording.

It is expected that the blue play head stay still and red line moves forward when you preview. Also, the movement doesn't seem to be laggy. It does the same on my end. You can check if the preview is working fine or not in the Preview panel. The cached frames (indicated by the green line in the Timeline) should preview in real-time.

Hope it helps.

Thanks,

Thank you. Seems normal. I'm just wondering why it is like that.
