Bonjour,

Hi,
Thanks for this link but the "answer" provided does not seem to me to be an "answer" to the problem at all.
First because I do not see any "options to permanently keep the connections active so they don't switch around" (???), then because there is no mention of "preventing them from entering power saving modes may help" when it comes to wired headphones as in my case, and finally because this problem is not present on the previous version of After Effects.
Indeed in version 2023 of After Effects, you just have to set the default audio output hardware to "System Default" for the switch to be done automatically: if I plug in my headphones the sound comes out of the headphones, if I unplug them, it comes out of my speakers. And the preview (audio or video) is not affected in any way.
So the problem comes obviously from After Effects 2024 and 2025 (and not Windows).
EDIT: My bad... Just set the audio output hardware to..."System Default", like on previous versions!
