Problem with keeping the centre with many pickwipped layers.

I am working on a continuous zoom project in which I pickwipped many layers on top of each other. The different layers are not exactly in the centre of the previous layer. But I want to zoom in to the centre of each next layer. Can I make an adjustment layer who is defining the ultimate centre and rotation point (this doesn't seem to work for me) or something else?

You need to adjust the layer's anchor points or the effects' point controls. Those define the origin for any scale/ zoom operation and of course things will look wacky without any adjustments.
