Problems with element 3d on mac os big sur

Guest

I recently got a new mac and I have os big sur. Whenever I try to open element 3d, it tells me that the developer needs to update it and I download it from video copilot which is where I believe I'm supposed to download it from. It has a cancel out logo on the app so I can't open it. Could someone help me out?

I think you're not using the latest update of elements 3D be sure to download the latest one, and if you still face the same issue try to contact videocopilot support.

LATEST

As Oussk says if the message states you need to get the update, then you should download the latest version from Video Copilot.  Log into their platform and it should show you the latest version to download.  I suppose it is possible you're trying to install V1.6.  Video Copilot released version 2 quite a while back and charged for the upgrade.  Maybe Element requires V2 to work on Big Sur.
