Project is empty. I don't work like that.

Every time I start up the new version of After Effects, I get a pop-up that I have to click away before the program finishes loading. Not only is this a useless bother, but it's also a snarky remark. Adobe, we love you, but please don't put useless obstacles in our way, especially annoying ones.

Do you mean the Home Screen? You can turn that off in Preferences. Go to Startup and Repair and uncheck "Enable Home Screen".

That’s good to know, but I mean a pop-up that literally says “Your project is empty. I don’t work like that” every time I start Ae. Is it just me? I thought this was happening to everyone.

I haven't seen this before. Do you mind sharing the screenshot again? I can't see it if you tried attaching it before.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Nishu

No problem. I'll attach it rather than paste it in. Now that I know this isn't a universal issue, I'm starting to wonder if it could be caused by an extension or possibly a plug-in.

Thanks for the screenshot. High chance it could be a plug-in or script. Try disabling the plug-ins and removing any scripts that can not be disabled and see if that brings any change.

Report back.

Thanks,

Nishu
