"Refresh Disabled" suddenly on all the time?!

Seemingly out of nowhere I'm getting this warning, even though Caps Lock isn't on?

Anyone know what's going on???

I've tried:

Checking Live update is on

Checking Eye icon is switched on (Preview window)

Purged cache

New project

Reset prefs

Deleted App using Adobe CloudCleanerTool and reinstalled.

Tried reverting to old version of Ae.

Ae 25.5.0

Macbook Pro M1

Mac 15.4.1

Thanks Nishu but i've just managed to fix it.  The one thing I hadn't tried, restarting the laptop.

That's strange! Looks like you have already tried everything. Can you try disabling the Hardware Accelerated Composition, Layer, and Footage panels in After Effects Settings > Display? If that doesn't help, please share a screen recording of the full After Effects UI (not cropped) showing the issue.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,
Nishu
