Range separators messing up order of sentence

I can't seem to past words, symbols, or any part of a sentence into this line without it jumbling up the words.

I think it might have to do with the range separtator effects, 'slow fade on' . I have tried to remove the effects but I think it leaves the text effect offset on it, and it doesn't seem very intuative just having the ability to remove the effects and re apply it. I guess I should just reset the line and re-do it from scratch.  Thanks in advance.

EDIT: ok so I can uses normal letter but when type or past €10,000. it re-orders.

I can't remember the shortcut on Windows, but if you hold down Shift+ Alt/Option + Ctrl/Cmnd + V when you paste formatted text that you have copied, the formatting that is not compatible with After Effects will be stripped off. See if that fixes your problem.

Thanks. Reseting character fixed it in the end, but I will give that a shot next time. Best Wishes Julian
