Also having this problem with AE.
Can install older versions, but only 2022 and up.
Why take away 2021 already?

Your statemnt doesn't make much sense. You should be able to install as far back as the 2018 versions. Without any system information and possibly other technical details we can't tell you much, though, as to why the CC app may not offer other versions.

The CC app does not offer versions past the last two. This applies to all software.
Might want to try this link:
How to Get Direct Download Links for All Adobe Software | ProDesignTools
It seams that for Team Project you can get older installers. (not sure about this).

If one has a very good reason for an older version, they can contact support and ask for a download link.

Yeah, you can contact Adobe and get an installer. The only thing is that it's the base installer of it and not the upgraded one with all the bug fixes. You'd think they'd have an option, or let you have the completly updated version bug free. It's pretty ridiculous they stop offering support/access even to an AE build that's like 2 years old. I get using the new software, but sometimes it's easier to use an older version. Scripts/Plugins stop working.
Doesn't seem like anyone at Adobe cares though and sends you generic answers or to their terms and conditions.
Remember when you actually paid for something and got to keep it/had access to it?

I tried for the 2014-2015 version but no dice, not even the 2018 version was available upon calling. the new ones are just too slow. I found an old CS6 copy and it's buttery smooth~

Hi, are you on a PC? A Mac? if the latter, does it use an Apple Silicon processor?
Is the CC application up to date?

Thanks.
But I don't understand why you stop giving access to an app that's not that old even?
AE 2023, just got released fairly recently. Now there's no access to the bug free /completley updated AE2021.
You can only install AE2022 or 2023 from the app. A year or so ago you had access to like 3-4 prior builds of AE.
Curious on the decision to just abandon all access to it?
No one should need support for AE2021 as it was in it's final build and working pretty good. But access to the final build should still be available, IMO. It's like throwing out a perfectly good jacket cuz you got a new one. Then the new one gets destroyed and you've got no backup.
And yes, I did get the installer from Adobe, but why not have the installer install the final build? Or give access to the updates.

I know this doesn't help now, but there is a tickbox for "Remove Previous Versions" or something like that when you go to update from one version to another. I always leave the previous version installed for at least 6 months, because there is always gonna be some script, plugin, or project that comes in and I need the previous version because thats the compatible one.
