AE 23.3 on MacOS Ventura 13.0

Steps to recreate issue:

  • Open After Effects
  • Create a blank project
  • Create a new composition
  • (Optional) Add footage, solids, etc
  • Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue / Press Shortcut
  • Media Encoder opens, does nothing

This has been happening for months. Media Encoder has completely left my workflow for a variety of reasons but I figured I'd report this bug anyway.

Hi Juniperf,

Sorry to hear about your issue.

Please check if you're using the same version of Media Encoder as After Effects. Does it happen with all the After Effects projects or a particular one? I did try the steps you provided but it worked fine on my end.

Let us know.

Moving this thread from Bugs to Discussions for troubleshooting.

Thanks,

Nishu

Thank you for the reply!

Media Encoder is, according to Creative Cloud, "Up To Date," and I don't see any later versions than the one it currently is at - 23.2.1 (Build 2). This issue occurs with all After Effects projects.
