Rotobrush shortcut error

So I have a Mac, I use a razer (windows) keyboard. I've modified my keys, I know which ones command and which is option. When I use the rotobrush to mask, and I hold option to ""apparently"" delete unwanted selections...nothing happens and it's really frustrating. Can anyone help me? Idk if there's a work around this issue with a simple click of a button to toggle back and forth...or if I have to go into keyboard shortcuts through after effects and enter in the shortcut manually which I still don't know how to do....or if I just go out and buy a "Mac" keyboard can someone please help me.

If there is a configuration utility for the keyboard, you might want to check there. This could be as trivial as the keyboards internal timing being weird and it firing tons of short keyboard commands instead of a consistent continuous signal. Gaming keyboards have a lot of such optimizations which are beneficial for fast games, obviously, but that makes them hyper-sensitive and sometimes useless for real work. Yes, you may indeed need a different keyboard at least temporarily to test this out. Chances are even a cheap 10 Euro PC keyboard might do in a pinch, so ask around with friends and familiy if you can borrow one of theirs for a few minutes...

Hi, thank you for the swift reply. I did figure it out. All I had to do was swap out my command and option key. Through my preferences in Mac OS. IDK if this will trigger issues with other softwares but it does allow me to do the root brush shortcut now. Thanks for the reply it definitely opened my eyes to find the issue
