Running After Effects on an remote device

Hey.
First time on Adobe Fourms so hopefully it's not in the wrong place. I've got a MacBook Air 2015 model which I've recently learnt won't run (more so render) anything on after effects.
Is there a possibility of running AE (or creative cloud itself) on something like a remote device or off of an external cloud based server i.e. running off shadow, or AWS server, so I can get the specs I need without splashing cash on a £1k PC?
Hope you understand the question, thanks for all taking time to read!

The licensing agreement does not allow running AE on a public server, but you may be able to use some kind of remote desktop to do so. The problem is that all of the source files will have to be on a fast network drive or local drive for AE to be efficient. I don't think it will work well. I have used remote desktop to help students fix problems and find things on their systems, but never use cloud computing with AE.

Call Adobe Customer service and see if they have any suggestions.

It's simply not how AE works and server-side licensing would be another pain in the rear. Even an AWS server would suffer from the same performance bottlenecks as a local AE in terms of multi-core/ multi-processor usage, file IO, linear processing and so on. And in order to even see some decent boost, you would have to rent one of the higher tiers where you can explicitly manage the processors and have enough storage. At the end of the day you could easily pay 500 bucks a month for this for very

Unless you are running a big VFX facility and have the cash as well as a versed tech guy who can put up with setting things up and managing the servers all day, this is a pipedream for a privateer. This will only make sense if one day Adobe offer their own CC integrated rendering servers that can be handled directly from the AE render queue (or AME's for that matter), but if and when this happens, is anyone's guess. Until then investing in a second computer wil lbe a much better option for 98% of all users.
