Scripting option & Expresions is not displayed within the after effects preferences menu

Hello I have installed on my computer the after effects cc 2019 within the menu edit preferences general did not appear the last option of the menu Scripting & Expresions to be able to configure it someone knows why this happens and what solution has this problem

Hello @mj I followed the steps of the link you provided but in the path appdata/Roaming//Adobe/AfterEfectsthe program when opened creates a folder of preferences called 16.0 in which it has some files one of them called Preferences Adobe After Effects 16.0.txt

This step should be adequate to reset your preferences.

Reset preferences

To restore the default preference settings, press and hold the following keys while the application is starting.

Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows)
Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS)
To restore default keyboard shortcuts, Alt-click (Windows) or Option-click (Mac OS) the OK button.

Just to confirm - you're using AE CC 2019 (v16), and not AE CC 2018 (v15)?

Scripting and Expressions was new to the Preferences menu in 2019, so it won't appear in any earlier versions.
