Simple project crashing upon opening any comp.

Hi,

I'm working on a very simple project that is not opening. The project file will open, but attemping to open any composition will crash after effect.

This project was created today, was saved and closed with no crashes at all. Unfortunately auto save was not on so they are no redudencies.

All the project was was footage (H264 files exported from Resolve) and text animation videos (also H264s) that were to be motion tracked in after effects. They were all done flawlessly until saving, closing, then attempting to reopen.

The only things that were used were 3D camera tracker, some nulls, a couple of solids, video layers and additional text layers. No outside plugins.

Anyone know what could be going on?

I've tried

- clearing preferences

- safe mode.

- disabiling plugins.

- emptying cache.

- updating.

- resinstalling.

- installing and trying an older version.

- copying files to another harddrive and attempting to relink media. I was notified the media was unlinked, I did not relink it, and upon opening a comp, AE crashes.

I've attatched the project file below if anyone wants to look at it. Obviously media and font will be offline.

Hi Andrew,

Sorry for your issue.

We've been trying to find the root cause of the crash in your project. The engineers found that the first layer of Main Container Comp 4K has a nest of the same comp on the first layer. This is not something that is allowed in AE's architecture. We're interested in knowing how the comp was created. You mentioned that you're using Ae 23.6, but looks like the project was created in 23.5. Did you create the project yourself or download it from the Internet?

Project was recreated due to lack of After Effect's ability to ever open. Lost money on the project.

"This is not something that is allowed in AE's architecture"

We'll it seems like it somehow did it then stopped working. Never intentionally did this. Would love to see adobe take this action that isn't allowed and update their software so other folks don't have to recreate work.

My project was doing fine, but after i saved it my ae freezed the image. And now whenever i want to see the preview the image is freezed but when i scroll past the video is working fine. Mind you after doing this project my ae worked very well and idk what to do
