I've had trouble with importing a 3ds file into C4D lite 22. Some materials are showing, but more than 75% of mats show up as black in the workspace, and in the material list, yet if I open up the material color picker it shows the color it should be. When I add a light, everything goes black. Has anyone had luck with fixing this?

eitehr mundane OpenGL issues with display functions or specific problems with how the materials arte created in Sketchup. E.g. missing transparent textures can easily make the mat preview go black as can of course a ton of other things like specific shading properties not shared across apps.
