So simple yet I cannot find a 'how to'.

I have a medium shot of a woman sitting up in bed. Shes looking worriedly to a window off screen. Her child is asleep, with her head on mom's chest.

I simply want to start zoomed in, with the childs face filling the screen, then pull back slowly to reveal the mother.

Lots of tutorials out there on zooming in and out, but not starting zoomed in.

I'm missing something simple. I have both Premiere pro and After effects.

Thanks,

Scott

Thanks for the responce. I'll search for a video illustrating what you said. I'm too much of a newbie to actually make such concise instructions work.

Okay. I had watched these videos before but I guess looking at them again in the context of your answer they  finally made sense. It worked. Thanks again.
