Solid settings OK or SAVE button sometimes says NEW

this happened to me a few times, when my solid layer wasn't new,

I clicked "solid settings" and the OK button said NEW

If you have more than one copy of any of the solids you have created in your project in any of the comps and you do not check the Affect all layers box that use this solid, you are going to create a New solid in the project folder with the new settings.
