Some fonts won't open in After Effects.

I download new fonts and install them. I open After Effects, and it recognizes the fonts. I try to select this font, click on it, but it doesn't open. How can I fix this?

What's the name of the font? Is it happening with multiple fonts? If these are variable fonts, After Effects doesn't support variable fonts as of now.
