Sports Tracking/Highlights

Hello,

Lately, I've been getting into deep editing for Sports Videos as I'm currently producing a Local Football Show and helping some of my High School Football Players with Highlight Packages for their seasons.

The biggest thing I'm looking to elevate my Production Value is the Motion Tracking that you see in Sports Broadcasts when the Analysis are drawing the lines that the viewers see on the screen when a Player is Circled/In Motion. When an object like a Ball is in Motion and all of that kind of fun.

A fun one that I'm looking at is the concept of following a  "Thrown Object" like in Baseball when a Pitcher delivers the Ball towards Home Plate and you see that Motion Tail from the Ball when it's Released by the Pitcher and that Trail goes all the way through the frames to the point where the ball is Caught/Hit. Same is applicable to Football when the ball is Thrown by a QB or Kicked for a Field Goal./Punt.

All these "Projectile Motion Paths".

The others on a similar level is when you see on the screen where you have the "Cone Vision" where they show the direction that someone is looking. Or the Line on the ground showing directional movement such as you would see when there's a lot of lines that go back and forth.

My idea with this if I were to use Football as an Example.

The Quarterback gets the ball. They scramble for the original spot. This scramble is the line on the ground and maybe even a circle/cone around them beforehand. When the QB "Looks" to "Throw". This is that "Vision Cone". Now the Ball has been "Thrown" and now you see a Line of Tragectoey that follows the ball from the QB into the WR's Hands.

this is just 1 major sample. Others include highlighting and identifying a player on the field and the path they go to make a pay.

Some examples of this can be seen here: https://youtu.be/3hXTVIiyGi4?si=ymaJOfqCt2O3BeN4

i know there's a lot between After Effects and Premier Pro that I can look into. I'm just looking to see if anyone has some good tips/tricks or knows of videos I might be able to look at to answer my question.
