Hi there,

I tried reset preferences settings but I still have maximised startup windows with no idea why.

Yeah, I think in CC2022 or another update Adobe made the home screen window larger. If you want to turn it off go to Edit > Preferences > General and turn off Enable Home Screen.

Thank for the tip. But should not Adobe look after it (after...funny word for After Effects)?

That's completely normal. If you want to use AE then create a new project or open it normally.

What do you mean why? It's just the start up screen for AE. That's just the way it is, you can't really change the size.

Why.... Why do I have it almost fullscreen? It has some purpose as I mostly navigate between latest project. If I disable this window, ok, I have to to menu, navigate latest project. Becuase Adobe just love complicating things.

You can't change the size of the home screen as far as I know.
