Text Layer Glich

I am back on After Effects, trying to reset myself on the platform, and I keep running into possible glich (?). When I write out a line of text, it finishes the text. But if I try to highlight and make adjustments on the text, the last letter seems to get cut from adjustment, and in some cases, does not even register in the layer. 

I've tried to fix it, but now I am unable to even see the text layer.

Is this a glich, or do I have a setting in the wrong?

A minute ago, I could at least see the layer and the text, even though it had problems...

It's a glitch. I think it was fixed in v22.4 so if you don't like it, revert back. Or use Ctrl + A to select all. https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-discussions/cant-select-last-letter-in-a-line-of-text-a...

I agree with what Jake said. The issue got fixed in the 22.4 version but started happening again in the 22.5. The workaround is either to press Ctrl + A or double/triple left mouse click to select a word or line. The engineers are working on a fix.
