Hi AE community, I'm having problems with importing AI files/vector/text in my AE file which is 32bit. I'm using 32bit due to the animation i'm creating has imported ACES .exr frames frome cinema4d/redshift. Problem I'm having is that I need some text onto the frames, when I export the frames the edges become very jagged/crisp. If i change my color profile to 16 or 8 bit the problem is solved however my colors are all messed up of the imported c4d/redshift frames. Whats the right way to solve this problem?

Attached 2 screenshots of 16 and 32bit difference. Hope anybody can help.

Cropped screenshots are almost useless for diagnosing problems, and the attached images are a pain to look at. I suspect that your Comp Panel Magnification Ratio is set to something greater than 100%, so you are getting a close-up look at the pixel grid. The other problem could be scaled raster layers (pixels) or a vector layer, or nested comp (pre-comp) that has not been set to rasterize continuously. The pixelated edges should have nothing to do with the color depth of the comp.

Select the problem layer and press the 'u' key twice to reveal all modified properties. Take a screenshot of the entire UI. Drag the screenshot to the reply field so you can see it before you post and make it big. Do that and we can probably help you sort it out.
