Hello! Me and my whole team have a problem. When using audio files (often from desktop Google Drive), the sound in them moves out, and the only way to fix it is to re-render the file (with third-party software).
And with all this, it happens completely randomly. Out of 10 people, the sound breaks for three, or for half, or for all. Its random. We are use the same file, from the same folder (no one downloads it).
If we download these files with a browser, the problem will be solved in 70% of cases, but nevertheless it can still occur and we will still have to re-render.

Why does this happen and how to fix it without re-render?
The after effect version doesn't matter either. This kind of crap happens in versions 22, 23 and 24. We use Windows. File is .mp3 format.

Here is example of broken audio. The beginning becomes the end and the end becomes the beginning.

Can you share a link to an audio file you're having this issue with? We can try to reproduce the issue internally.

Are you and the team importing files from the Google Drive folder? If so, can you try importing them from the desktop and see if that brings any change?

Note: Moving this thread from Bugs to Discussions for troubleshooting.

Thanks,

Nishu

Hello, yes, we importing from Google drive folder.

Today we tried your method, copied "broken" audio from Google drive folder to desktop and that copy works fine.

But that's not solution, because we not just using audio, we using .aep projects, that in Google drive folder, with linked audio inside. So, if copy audio to desktop, we also would have to relink all audio inside project 😕
