- the precomp layer is set to visible
- the precomp layer is centered in the viewing screen
any help would be so appreciated!
your layers are checked as "Guide Layers" which means they don't render in parent composition.
turn it off by right clicking on the layer and check off the guide layer feature.

It could be a timing issue, it could be a lot of things. Without details and screenshots and maybe a flow chart it's impossible to say for sure.
I would start by making sure that you have syncronize time of related events turned on in preferences, open the pre-comp and put the CTI where something is happening and then go to the main comp. If you don't see anything then press the U key twice to reveal all of the modified properties of all layers and see if there are any switches thrown. If you still can't figure it out post screenshots with the modified properties of the layers giving you problems revealed (uu) and give us some details.

I have this problem too, I am using a 3D layer and trying to make a 2D image 3D, but when I precompose all my duplicate layers, it disappears.

^Another problem I'm facing is that when I duplicate more layers, the background color is becoming darker.

@EESHA SINGH5FDC Could be a visualization issue due to display Resolution/Downsampling. Set it to Full rather than Third and see if it changes an
ything.

Had the same problem, and the resolution passed to full on the main comp solved the problem, weird though... Thanks!
