the keyboard shortcuts don't work

why in After effect and Premiere pro the keyboard shortcuts "cmd+v" 
in the "Output movie to:" or "Save as" window do not work? Mac OS BigSure

Ctrl/Cmnd + v is paste. You have to copy something before you can paste it. What are you trying to paste? All you could do with a task like Save As is double-click to select the file name and then paste some text you have copied from some other location. Are you telling us that does not work?
