Timeline columns layout

Is there a way to have my current timeline setup... columns the way i like them... be the default across the board? I often get project files from other designers and it's a PITA to have to reset the timeline layout in each comp to what works for me. Funny how many AE uses don't realize they have a toggle at the bottom so no need for both those columns to be open...

Nope. It's a project setting, not a program default and there is currently no way to override this with your own favorite settings. You have to put up with the frustration or rearranging the layout every time you get a file from soemone else.
