Hi,

 

Learning as I go with After Effects but just looking to establish how in the timeline I only show the activated options and hide the rest of them (apologies for the poor terminology very early days for me right now lol). Attached images should clear up my query. Thanks in advance.

If you press the U key, it will expose only keyframed properties on the selected layer(s). If no layers are selected, it'll expose keyframed properties on all layers.

If you press U U, it'll expose all properties that have been changed from their default values.
