Track matte mask

New Here ,

Hello everyone,

I need help because I want to create three masks which will move and which will cover / uncover different objects ( text, pictures, movies) in different positions in time.

If I set the effect "matte" it crops "V1" like in the picture below, I think that it happens because "V1" isn't in the originary position that he has when I have imported it, am I right? So I must import file and don't change their properties?

Or may I have to create a mask on every object and in multiple frame? I hope that there is another solution that I don't know.

Thank you in advance.

Well, your whole approach is kinda wonky and you are overcomplicating this. since your masks ever only appear to be deformed quadrangles, why not simply use the Corner Pin effect on solids that in turn are used as direct track mattes? That would literally be easy as pie, avoid tons of issues and be much more interactive. Of course there are alternative ways, but for such a simple setup they would be overkill. in any case, just don't use the Set Matte effect and try to do things directly.
