I have got a question about animating a text along path

I have made a mask to a text layer for apearing

But I want it to move along a path after apearing

So how can I do that ?

You would draw the mask for the animation in as well as the animation out and have the text resolve about halfway along the mask.

That, or you would split the Text Layer and have the mask of the second half continue from where the first half left off.

Structure your workflow accordingly. Don't try to do everything at once. Use multiple layers to separate the steps, pre-compose the text animation before masking, use track mattes. Whatever floats your boat and is best for the use case at hand. more info and a screenshot of what you actually want to do sure would allow us to advise more specifically.

The Mask to be used as the Text Layer's motion path should ideally be a closed path. This should prevent any issues with the other mask path. If you are still having issues then post screen grabs of your timeline and composition panels. HTH
