Typing problems

Hi, with my After Effects program is something wrong. I actually can't typing. When I type I see this text at layers but not at my solid.What should I do with this problem?

Without any info about your system, fonts used, settings and so on we can't realyl tell you much. Start by checking your hardware acceleration settings, reset the font panel and try a different font.

Make sure the text on the text panel is not too small. Besides that the color of the text is not the same as that of the composition. In these cases, upload a screenshot could be useful.

Then it's too big, put 20 pt to see if it appears.
