Community Beginner ,

Why do I have a big gray slash through my comp in After Effects? I'm not getting any plug-in errors or any other error messages.

Hi @Leah Gabriell30200258jbe9,

Thanks for reporting this issue. Could you share a screenshot of the slash you are seeing in the Composition panel?

Thanks for any further info,

Screen Shot 2023-05-31 at 3.31.52 PM.pngI'm only referring to the slash that goes through the lower third element (which is currently animating on in the screen shot). The slash's color changes to reflect to the color of the element with it.

@Leah Gabriell30200258jbe9

Thank you for the screenshot! This might be a known issue we're aware of—is the thin line a Solid that is scaled down to be very thin, or is it coming from some other type of layer?

Thanks again,
