i accidentally opened my duik file into a jsx file and now it's only opening as a photo type thing now idk what to do to change it back...

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble.

Duik is a 3rd party plug-in for After Effects.  While you may find someone experienced with it here in the After Effects community support forums, you're probably better off posting your question in the Duik Support pages.

I think you're probably best downloading a new version of DUIK and replacing the installed files.
