UI Issues with Intervals in After Effects Scripting

I’ve created a function with an interval of 1000 milliseconds to check if After Effects is rendering, and it works very well. However, I’ve noticed that every second, as the interval triggers, the mouse cursor (both the Pointer and Pen Tool) disappears and reverts to the default arrow icon. The cursor only reappears when I move the mouse, resulting in a continuous glitch each second. This issue affects the entire After Effects user interface, not just my CEP extension. Are there any ways to correct this problem?
