Unable to access Cinema 4D Lite through AE.

I'm trying to access Cinema 4D - Lite through AE. I've created a Maxon account and have tried to activate my trial. (I've never used it.) 

I get the message "This account already got a "Cinema 4D - Trial" license.
You may try again later or contact support if you need assistance."

I've tried looking at another forum post here but none of the solutions like deleting the Maxon folders have worked for me at all. Looking for a solution. Thanks.

 I guess the message means you have got a Cinema 4D trial (of full version). You can download the past version of Cinema 4D Lite from the link below.

Have you tried reinstalling After Effects and Cinema4D Lite and registering with Maxon when C4D launches from After Effects?

I had some issues (different) with C4D and AE and this fixed the problem.
