There are so many animation schools. Choose one that fits your goals.
Instead of looking at just software training, you might want to consider what you want to accomplish with the software.
DUIK? Are you trying to animate characters? What story do you want to tell? Is it something that you can only do through character animation in After Effects?
Have you considered started scripting? storyboarding? doodling? photoshop or animate - cell animation?
How about Character Animator?
Software can be difficult to learn.
Your storytelling goal can be easier to figure out.
Then, once you've got it, identify which way will let you express your voice!
