If anyone could help out with this problem, I would be most grateful.
I started learning After Effects at the beginning of this year and apart from a few glitches, I am really enjoying the course.
Except that AE will sometimes refuse to allow me to change my font.
As soon as I click on the drop down menu from the Character panel, a pop warning appears.
After Effects: Unspecified drawing error.
I need to click on the OK button at least 4 or 5 times to get rid of the pop up because it keeps reappearing as soon as I click on the OK button.
Very frustrating!
I have found that AE is slightly more compliant when I open the program as the administrator.
Can someone help me out with this problem?
As a temporary workaround, I went into my fonts folder and deleted several fonts that were labelled Instable.
It seems to have done the trick for now.

Hi Joost,
I will keep this in mind for next time I have a query.
As for my computer, here are the specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 six-Core Processor 3.40GHz
16 GB RAM
Windows 11
Ae version 22.2.1
3 monitors, 1 external hard drive
Ae was the only program running at the time
