I am an old/new AE user. I went back to college in 99-2000 to change fields and work in motion graphics but then had my son (planned) and the animation/motion graphics world was not set up for a 40 hr. wk so I went back to media support/vid prod. at a college for 20 years, dabbled in AE on & off and now building up a portfolio with it.
I upgraded to 18.1.0 this week.
This version does not have all the preview modes together, but 2 to the right bottom and 3 to the left bottom of comp window. Using fast draft used to look pretty good previously. Now when I toggle tween adaptivve res and off, there is no visible change to my comp preview. Since the upgrade, my preview is more blurry than the previous one I used to see and makes it harder to see the shadow effects. I guess I could revert to previous version? I am thinking something is amiss in the GPU maybe?
