Vector files pixelating in After Effects

I am trying to make a very quick animation using a simple illustrator file. I have imported the illustrator file into After Effects and created a shape layer from it but it is pixelating. I have tried continuously rasterising when it is just an ai file also. Currently this is a 1080x 1080 comp, however it has been requested I make it 100 x 100 (is this even possible?)

I have my resolution and preview set to Full

It is also pixelated when I export

Is this something to do with my After effects settings or will I never get the image completely clean?

There is nothing pixelated. It just makes no sense to view your rasterized artwork at 200% and then go crazy over antialiasing. That and of course the old gag of people simply assuming AE would work like AI and constantly re-rasterize the vectors at screen resolution as you zoom in, which simply isn't the case. And of course once you scale down your artwork to a hundred pixels width it will show the same antialiasing and even more so. Again, there is nothing wrong here. It's just how stuff works

There is no such thing as true infinite "sharpness" even with vectors. It's all down to perception and the underlying rasterization algorithms.
