vertical tracking in text animation in after effects

Hi,

am following one tutorial, the text animation there I figured out. (attached) but I dnt undertsand how did he do the verical tracking. I only find horiozontal tracking in after effects. his texts are climbing up, how did he do that. am so sad :'( . am lost. please help.
