Sometimes when I go to import a video into After Effects and go to preview it, the colors somehow come out as if saturation is turned on 1 million and its very bright, white, and yellow looking. I don't know how to explain it so I'll just show it.
Sorry for the issue. Are you working with HDR media? If so, please let us know what is the source of the video. Please also share screenshots of the Color tab in Project Settings (Win: Ctrl + Alt + Shift + K macOS: Command + Option + Shift + K) and Interpret Footage options (Project Panel > Right-click on video > Interpret Footage > Main > Color). This information will help us better understand the issue.
