I am trying to render videos for social media 1080 x 1350 & 1080 x 1920 directly on AE as a ProRes 422 MOV file . The 1080 x 1350 renders fine but the 1080 x 1920 version renders with a green box at bottom. If I send the render through Media Encoder it renders fine but it takes extremely long to render. Please Help

Hi lineasogni,

Welcome to the community and sorry for your issue.

What's the exact version of After Effects you're using? Also, what are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)?

Can you try disabling the Multi-Frame rendering and export and see if that brings any change (Go to After Effects Preferences > Memory and Performance)?

Let us know the outcome.

Thanks,

Nishu

Probably mundane hardware acceleration issues. AME becoming slow as hog and not using it either would further reaffirm an issue there. Check the relevant settings and update your system's graphics driver.
