Warp an object on Y-axis

Allright, so im basicly trying to warp/bend a image on the Y-axis, but i cannot find the nessersary plugin/effect/script to do so

Not possible with vanilla AE, since this would require the layers to be based on genuine deformable geometry, which they are not. You have to look into commercial third-party plug-ins like Boris FX. Otehr than that you can of course kinda fake it with a textured plane and a twist deformer in Cinema 4D...
